Greetings weary traveller, I invite you to pass through the mighty gates and enter my city. Please sit a spell and hear our tale.
Welcome to Trigolde - CityState of my superior Iceland Warriors and Traders. The bitter Artic winds lose their bite somewhat when they break against our walls and any remaining chill will be defused by our warm hospitality and caring attitudes. Trade is of extreme importance to us as we endeavour to provide our people with goods we cannot naturally provide. Although we are traders this doesnt mean we arent of warrior caste still - our battle skills are still honed to perfection and are prepared for any advance necessary.
History unfortuanatly doesnt wish us peace. 2 Icelandic CityStates to the North are under the reign of vicious fanatical religious leaders, worshipping the Great Bear or the Frosted Walrus or something insane like that - They wish to cut Icelanders off from outside contact to ensure the purity of the religion - but we realise that trade and communication with the outside world is of utmost importance. /P>
Luckily in my battle against the fanatics I have a strong and mighty ally - The CityState of Kelna also embodes the same ideals as TriGolde and we have joined in the final battle - no longer can we allow religious fervour to threaten the tundra's of Shrelna - We need to free the trade routes and bring sanity and peace to Icelanders and the other races. May good luck shine upon our efforts - Freedom of thought is the only worthy cause.

The islanders of Fralde Vale would like to extend their friendship
to all other icelanders on this very strange island. At the borders of some of our shires,
there is nothing bo the seen. Not sea, not a wall, just nothing. It might seem
like we are in the astral plane, but we are surely not. Even though the
landscape is harsh and cold, food is growing better than in any plains or grasslands we
have ever seen. We seek to find out how this can be, so we can use this on other worlds.
It might be that all the food around our capitol is the answer to all
our prayers. Religion plays an important role in the community of Fralde, and living in
the arctic, we have prayed that our crops would blossom and for hunting to be good. Now,
it may seem like our prayers have been heard by the God who created this world. If only he
could have given us a sign, we would have calculated this in our strategy reports.
Of course, there are other matters to attend to as well. By strange
laws, we are forced to vanquish all other icelanders, expect those under the leadership of
wise wizard Gandalf. We have good reason to believe that our enemies go by the names of
Justone and Unknonw Player. If they are going to get off this island, they will have to walk
over my dead body.
A five-step plan has been put together by the Council of Fralde with
help from our close ally Gandalf. This plan includes the process of Armageddon. We
expect to have vanquished all enemy wizards before we will have that spell, but we will
research it, merely for safety precausions. Generous as the people of Fralde is, we are
willing to share our plans with our enemies as well. It's not like it will make a
difference for your faith anyway.
1. Research the famous "Spirit Drain". As we have already
recieved our first hero, this spell will have great influnce in early battles.
2. Research the even more famous spell of "Summon Dark Lord".
By calling on the aid of the mighty dark lords, we should be able to conquer some towns
easily, hence balancing economy in our favor. With the use of the third step, we can even
get control of these towns.
3. Research "Non-Corporal". Using fast moving heroes with
high spellcraft, we will conquer shires with or without the aid of DLO's, surprising the
enemies where they'll least expect it.
4. Research "Heighten Battle Speed/Imbue Life". These are the
ultmiate combat spells when using large armies, provided a strong gem supply. We believe
the Creator has given us a connection to the Astral plance, hence providing enough gems
for our needs.
5. If the enemies are very persitent, we will have to terminate them by
using the Ultimate Spell, Armageddon. Of course, life expectancy of our enemies are
considered to be between 15 and 20 months. If they by chance should be able to hold on
longer, we are prepared to use this spell within a two year period.
Even though we are enemies, it doesn't mean we can't be friends, right?
