  • PLAYER 1 - Deniro

I, Deniro the Mystical, Son of Deuro the Invader, Son of Nergle
the Conquerer, Son of Erik of the Black Rage, Son of Corgath the
Oderous, do hereby proclaim ascension to the Crown of Blackrock of the Underdwarves.

My father, Deuro the Invader, though glorious in youth, has lately
proven his inability to lead the Underdwarves in this, their time
of need. He has been pithed and the once mighty warrior, recently
lord only of feasts and concubines, now lies glorious again in preserved
magnificense deep beneath Blackrock within the Temple of Grundikar,
God of Battle, and is available to be viewed by long memoried Underdwarves between Bellrise and Midmeal.

I, Deniro the Mystical, having stabilized my Kingdom in Blackrock
for the coming desperate months, now seek to spread stability throughout
the land so that the minions of Arragoth find not a sleepy ignorant
land of sheep when they emerge, but a united army of lions eager
    to crush this threat to their world. I will do this in two ways;
the first - diplomacy and negotiation to ally with those aware of
the imensity of the threat Arragoth promises and convince the waverers.
The second - invasion and assimilation of those nations so foolhardy
as to underestimate this threat or seek to expand their lands at
the expense of others whom are too busy preparing for Arragoth's invasion to watch their backs

I, Deniro the Mystical of the Blackrock Underdwarves, await your
emissaries. Let us all go boldly forth to battle!

  • PLAYER 4 - Alucard

    Hail Allies and Foes

News update from the Minotaur Front on this the second season on the
      last of Spring.

      Battlefield News update:

The evil forces of the underlord again attack three shires. Upon the
first shire a Minotaur Recon force was quickly wiped out by varies
    evil
forces as they tried to retreat. At last, none of those valor units
survived. We wish there loved ones the best and pensions will be
      awarded.

Upon the second attack, the evil force using tunneling attacks tried
    as
they might to force their way behind our lines the Minotaur line held
firm and Earl the Scribe lead the counterattack that routed the
     evilness
out of the shire. Several units where destroyed in the first attack
    but
due to the Minotaur Clerics on hand everyone was brought back from the
      dead.

Also Earl lead a Bold group into a local graveyard and recover yet
      another relic.

The last assault led by Evil Storm Giants was halted almost as quickly
as it started when Minotaur Dark Elves unleash hellish missile fire
     upon
the attacking Giants. Wiping out ever last one of them along with all
      their supporting troops.

Several Heroes of the realm have again been promoted in their various
      fields of expertise.

One sad case deals with Tenka the Thief as he tried to enter a magical
Air Tower. His fall was not bad and he is going to make a full
     recovery.

The wizards of the empire have again been successful in achieving yet
another breakthrough in our R&D efforts. We can now create Potions of
Healing if anyone wishes to buy them.

Empire economics are running along at a fast clip and we expect major
sites to be almost complete built out by the end of this year.

We are looking for trading partners and anyone interested in such
    deeds
please register as an official trading partner of the Empire.

      Best,

  • PLAYER 7 - Ulfwerenar

Salutations from Ulfwerenar, High Elven Wizard, Lord of Wolves.

We were all included in the cosmic design of the Isles of Arragoth as local information gatherers and problem solvers in support of the integrity of the eternal, 100 percent efficient, self-regenerative system of the synergetic Universe. In support of our cosmic functioning we were given minds with which to discover and employ the generalised laws governing all physical and metaphysical, omniinteraccommodative, ceaseless intertransformings of Universe.

Let all those who would bloom in the Light of Universe amalgamate and banish the mindless predacious hordes of Arragoth, who endeavor to obliterate the resplendent illuminance of our Sun and Stars with the putrescence of Chaos.

    Seek not to follow
    In footsteps of Elves of old;
    Seek that which they sought.

  • PLAYER 9 - Brock

The winds of destiny are upon us…

I take my place among the others to face the simoon, the great storm of
the desert. By this we will be chosen. By this will we be judged…

The winds steal my breath, the sands burn my flesh, the howls threathen
to steal my mind. I WILL NOT FALTER…

The storm has passed. I LIVE! Others still stand, but their eyes are
vacant, unseeing, their minds gone. Still others lie buried beneath the
sand, never to rise again. I alone survive.

I am Brock, Mage of the Desert Winds, Leader of the People of the Sands,
the Homoj Sabla. The Homoj Sabla have learned to survive the harsh
conditions imposed upon us. We bend with the breeze and follow the winds
to their end. The gentle zephyrs comfort us and the gales test us. We
    survive!

The winds tell me the awakening of ARROGOTH is upon us. We must learn
the ways of the outside world. We must seek allies and prepare our
warriors agains the ill wind of his coming. To this end, we wish the
blessings of the winds upon all who will aid us in this endevor. We will
seek no war upon the races, but will strike like the cyclone any who
    bring war to us.

May the winds be ever at your backs…

  • PLAYER 10 - Viriato

Form the chronicles of the Dark Moon,

The crossbowmen were camped across the river. They felt secure
despite their size, being gnomish troops they did not feel size mattered. In
fact they were the best troops gnomish generals could oppose to the might of
lava legions, at least until the famous Hill Dwarves with his throwing
hammers got to the front. All kinds of shock and melee troops were camped on
the other side of the river. Robin Hood was their commander and he was as
able as anyone else. Being one of the principal armies of the empire made
sure they could defeat and harm any normal enemy, but lava legions were not
normal at all. Such was the thinking of the nation leaders and they were so
impressed by this fire troops that another two armies were going to join
them in order to banish the lava legions from this island. Some said that
this armies were even bigger than this one. The crossbowmen thought they
could do it by themselves, but who were they to order the attack. So they
waited. Suddenly they saw scouts coming. There were about 100 lava legions
coming, they did not wait for the attack. Finally a battle!, and it was
due to the lack of intelligence or incompetence of the generals. Who would
have thought the lava legions could attack instead of waiting our attack? A
lot of people, but not the bureocrats that ruled the Empire. Surely 100 Lava
legions were not much for the more than 190 troops that were arrayed against
them.... 2:1 seemed enough they would think.
North of the river, Robin received the scouts news. He knew they
were doomed. Allies had lost as much as 6:1 odds battles against lava
legions. HE was not good with numbers buthis 190 troops did not seem enough
to him. If just the armies of Belgarion and Olbus could get here in time,
they were so close....... No it was hopeless, at least they will avenge me
and my troops. We will soften this dammable fire troops. Now he regretted
not paying attention to the magic studies back at home, he badly needed some
spells to protect their troops and he had nothing to offer them. If Olbus
were here with me, we would barely need troops.
The battle was long, but from the begging everymen in the army
realized they were doomed. Wave after wave of fire arrows pierced their
ranks and killed or maimed scores of soldiers. Despite the awesome damage
the men were suffering they shot lots of arrows and when this ones did not
make too much damage the melee shock troops got ready to die fighting. At
the end the very same Robin challenged the awesome lava leader and died
fighting him. 190 bodies laid on the battlegorund against just 25 scarred
squeletons of what had been fire troops....................... Scavengers
    will have their day......
Days later the news, or better said the lack of news from Robin,
told his two fellow generals the sad deeds of his valiant forces. The empire
grieved the heroes deaths. Olbus and Belgarion got ready to strike back at
what seemed unbeatable enemies. They were the hope of the
    empire..............
The bureocratic caste of the empire got in a frenzied with the news.
Suddenly hundreds of men from every race were recruited into the army.
Heroes from everywhere joined our ranks. THere were no distintions made from
race or size. Everyone was good enough to fight lava legions. Weapons were
made, armour fashioned. Training centers were built and the generals got
ready just in case the generals at the front failed to stop the legions. Now
there will be a second and a third wave ready to stop them. Moreover, the
flying machines had found where the evil laid, Arragoth island, and
powerfull ships and more troops were being sent there to dinish the evil at
his very root. In this they hoped to have the help of the powerfull elves to
    the south.
The down of a new era was beggining to shine.
