Long ago, in the dim ages in a valley good and plenty Lived a peace clan of peoples whose name only the wise still know. Deer and bear, wild cat and panther through the forests oft they hunted; On the bossom of the rivers, peacefully they fished and paddled; Round their busy village circles still the chase they nimbly followed. In this state of bliss so happy, many moons they lived contented. But behold, a cloud arising soon to change this peaceful aspect. A foe of mad and evil power suddenly disturbed their existence. The Lord of Fire demanded in tribute all the thing that they held sacred. But together, they defied him, banding now to face his wrath. Riled he did 'gainst their defiance sending out his might armies. Thus there came the Lava Legions unto this, the peoples valley. Burned they now both crop and forest, Streams and lakes they turned to vapor Leaving nought but waste and ruin. Now the winds howl cross the wastelands. Now the sands forever shift. But the people did not wither, nor did they give up the fight. For in this the Lord of Fire Made a mistake he will regret. For in the wasteland called a desert life survives the toughest test. Thus is breed the leathalest creatures: Cactus, viper, scorpion But the deadliest by far are the People of the Wastelands Sandpeople stand with any willing Seeking naught but ARROGOTH's death!
