Again, howdy to you all from the Head Plainsman, Jethro the Prophet.  The 
peace and blessings of the Great Chicken Goddess - She who bestows upon us 
chicken breasts and thighs and drumsticks - be with you all.

The word was sent out to all our kin: "Party at Jethro's!" and soon the 
flocks converged on our newly built tavern, constructed especially for this 
reunion of the Plainsmen clan.  Best fried chicken you ever tasted - though 
the recipe must remain a secret.  Afterwards, quite a lot of the kinsfolk 
decided to stick around, while the rest agreed to keep in touch.  Couple of 
the more restless types are thinking about moving off our homeland plains to 
see what lies beyond.  A nephew of mine, young Jebediah, also stopped by 
after the chickenfest with a tough looking friend.  He's looking for a job - 
excitable young man, some say a bit twitchy, seems like some sort of trouble 
back home - anyway, he's got the makings to become one of the best poultrymen 
in the business if he sets his mind to it.  Never seen anybody filet a capon 
so fast and precisely.  Think I'll take him on - maybe send him out on the 
road with the other young'uns.  If you meet up with Jebediah, tell him Uncle 
Jethro says hi and to mind his manners around civilized folk.
