Well how the mighty have fallen I got the wrong idea about wandering monsters, I thought they came from somewhere. that is had a starting location. I met 4 monsters in shire 163,3 and lost the battle (Boo Hoo). next round one of the remaining monsters apparently came into my shire. = I won this fight then sent my forces out after the remaining one. As my = troops left my shire another set of monster walked in, this was surprising as = they could only have come from the shire that I was invading. The forces = seemed to have just walked passed each other. When my gallant forces arrived = they found more monsters than during the first failed attempt, they lost (Boo Hooo Hoooo). I also lost my shire to the invader (boo hoo hoo hoooooooo) ************************************ Move seven Well this is really just between about half a dozen of us as the other = 90+ are just played by the wow computer. This takes most of the fun out of = this game but I have to say I am now in 253 which is "normal competitive" = game. This game is rather useful as a way of testing out how buildings etc = work. These are the buildings I have gone for so far. It would be good if so = of you others could also put up something about how you have done as we = will probably never come across each other in this game. The tavern as I think you will all have seen by know gives the moral and 2% local food increase. The market the tax = seems to have given all the tax bonuses shown here. Tax level medium with a tavern, feed 2 gave me a -0.15 on moral so I estimate that is about -0.40 for tax medium. has any body built the INN = or any other building that could help moral so that we can learn to counter = act this. Magic This is a area that I have not got into at all yet, I am trying find out = how many research point I need to get together to research spellcraft to increase the rate of research. I am up to 48 point. Whether it is worth = it depends on the increase/ cost ratio. If you get 2 points per round and = it costs you 50 points then that is a twenty five round payback. looking at = the length on most games then that is never going to be a good idea. I = anybody has more knowledge I, and I am sure others would love to hear it
